TONOLITE

Tonolite is a light colored plutonic igneous rock largely consisting of a sodium plagioclase and quartz. If the rock contains less than 20% quartz it is likely to be a monzonite, which is otherwise similar.

Tonolite is sometimes called plagiogranite.
